Remarks
Wi-Fi facility is available only for teachers, and there are special classrooms with the latest projectors and are fully air-conditioned. Laboratories are not updated, and many types of modern equipment need to be provided. As it is a government college, it lacks some safety goods also, but they can be managed.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty members here are most helpful, and especially in physics and chemistry, you will get better teachers in West Bengal. The environment is also good in our college with helpful and knowledgeable faculty members, but the inorganic section is weak. Many faculty members can be hired. Teachers in our college are very serious about teaching the great things in our subject. We are also very great full to get 5 great mathematics teachers in our department. All the teachers are very helpful, especially our HOD of the maths department, and they also help us economically and mentally. The exam structure of Burdwan University is good but not too much.
Placement Experience
About 40% of the students from our course got placed. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Mainly, government jobs were offered to alumni of our college. Most of the students from our department are working in the government sector. Even 3 students settled abroad in research and development sectors.
College Events
The college management is so active. They have many activities to improve the skills of students. Every year there is lots of competitions and fests that were happened regularly to enhance the students.
