Remarks

It is regarded as one of the best university in Kerala. They have well qualified and well experienced teaching staffs. The campus has really good atmosphere, they have almost all sorts of facilities. Easy access to all sorts of transportation facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview

The university has excellent teaching staffs. All teachers are well experienced and really friendly to students. Each sem students are given assignments, presentations for all subjects. Also students can participate for moot court competitions, MUNs, seminars etc. Also the department has really good library apart from the university library.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 27000 per year

Placement Experience

The University has really good placement cells for some Departments, while there are other departments which has less placement opportunities.

College Events

The university has almost all sorts of events. Especially during even sem, each departments have separate fests and competitions in which all students can participate. Also moot court competitions, seminars, etc are also conducted.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

The college is well known for inducing skills to students holistically. The facilities work very hard not just to complete the course but to make students fully aware about the subject matter. There is no political influence found in this college.
