Remarks

SLS, CUSAT is one of the best law schools in the country. Unlike Other law colleges in Kerala SLS is not under MG universityn The popularity of the university, Extracurricular activities provided, Campus placements are good. college is in one of the major cities in the state. The travel and accommodation facilities are good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus and curriculum is good and the classes are conducted in a fixed time table. Faculties are good but some of them are not upto standard. Library is really amazing and almost every study materials are provided there.

Placement Experience

Placements opportunities ar great for other courses like engineering. For law the placements are not that great in number. But still there are people who got placements.

College Events

Campus life is outstanding in CUSAT. There are a number of cultural activities every month. Because there are 30+ departments in the university campus there are activities related to every subjects. The university arts and sports festivals gives a very good campus experience.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are not the best. The rooms are shared with 2 or 3 people. We can invite a guest( must be a student ) to share the room if we want. Bathrooms are not attached. Rent is really low compared to others.

Hostel Fee: INR 5000 per year

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Average student experience at amrita

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.
