As I got married at an early age because of my parents, my education got delayed that's why I chose Mumbai University to complete the course. It offered a promising distance education along with a good examination system.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum for sociology for too boring and general. The same thing that was taught in junior college was just made lengthy. The textbooks were well written. The faculties were not great but they helped when asked.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, I did a workshop and another internship with a social organisation, I don't remember the name.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are not much after BA. But internships do come your way. If you complete your post graduation with them, there might be possible placements.
College Events
As I did not attend full time, I did not have much campus exposure. But if anyone is looking for it, it has them. Mumbai University is connected to many colleges, so there are many youth fests and events for distance students as well.
Campus Life
Well the classrooms were spacious though the furniture was old. The wifi provision in the centers was good. There were many halls for events and conferences too. As it was distance, I didn't use infrastructure much.
