Remarks
Firstly, locality mattered the most. Secondly, heard about various placements. Thirdly, heard about the number of certificates one can collect. I wanted a well-rounded education and wanted to be in a place where I can easily build terms with friends and teachers both. I had a few people who I had talked to before and they had always supported the decision of joining MCMDAV College. The positive image of the college in all the pass outs created a good image of the college in my mind and helped me decide to join the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was i think a bit hectic. The syllabus was vast. The time table schedule is very long, starts in the morning and ends up in the afternoon. The faculty is very friendly and understands the needs of the student.
Placement Experience
I have attended only 1 placement drive as of now. It was organized by Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein. It was for a standing job and intake was very less for the first year students.
College Events
Meraki is a festival held in the college campus wherein anybody male or female can attend provided they have passes. The day fest is followed by the star night. The number of visitors is comparatively less during the day. The worst part is that passes for start night are separate. If you are a student of the college you can enter during the day for free showing your college id. But the evening is paid. The prices of passes increase as you reach closer to the date of the fest.
Campus Life
When I talk about wifi, very poor network. Wifi password isn't provided and even if it is it hardly works. It is very difficult to access internet. Library size is very big. There is a problem of lack of place to sit during a free lecture near and around canteen. Sufficient sports facilities available.
