Remarks

Placements and ranking of the college in my ranking category. This college has a very green environment and its campus is large as compare to many of the college in pune. This college does not have good sports facility. It had a swimming pool but now that is also taken under construction for a building. Our college has 5 building in total for different departments. And there a other sections like higher secondary and also the vishwakarma universities is also a part of this campus only.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus gets updated after every two years according to industries requirement for the placement purposes.Due to this college has a good placement ratio Many of the students in circuit branches have packages above 12 lakhs. There are many faculties from IITs and NITs many of the faculties have completed thier PhD and all of them have applied for it.

Ya, there is very famous startup that is elcer which is a startup of electric cycle. And many more small small startups are there which works inside the college itself which helps the college and the students to grow.

Thier are many active clubs in this college which deals with cultural and technical fields. We have a combined techno - cultural fest of 4-5 days in our college. That is Gandharav. It hosts many events for college students as well as outside students.

Campus Life

Poor sports facility, No wifi in the campus, medium size library, different labs. There are labs of different subjects like for first year we have labs for chemistry, physics, electrical,and engineering drawing labs, after this every specific branch have thier own labs according to thier requirements. Thier are many active clubs in this college which deals with robotics, culture and many things

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals

VIIT -a good option?

1) I applied to VIT pune ,COEP pune ,PICT pune,CUMMINS ,PCCOE . I didnt get these colleges because i didnt have percentile for merit for that college i had 95.84 percentile and their cutoff for CS branch was 97 at that time which was difficult for me . 2)students can enroll in our college using MHTCET and JEE mains score .Through cet cell there are cap rounds total three and last one spot round (may have changed now).Apart from this there are no tests or exams to get an admission in this college...Read More
