Remarks

Because it is a autonomous institute.It has its own syllabus and curriculum that helps students to up do date with today technology.This institution is highly renowned in Pune and it's placements is also good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course includes physics chemistry that is basic science.but in my opinion it is not required for IT students as their focus on coding part.But one thing I like the most is project based learning (pbl) part.it helps students to use their knowledge to create projects.

Placement Experience

It is good and decent.Many renowned companies visits our college.I don't have any idea about placement process. alumni networking is nice for job referrals.yes our college has entrepreneur cell and it is one of the most active cell in our college.invenzee is the latest startup by them.

College Events

Yeah.the college students arrange technical programs with the help of faculties.There is only one cultural fest called gandharva held in the month of January or February.It is only college level fest.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. don't have any idea about it.but yeah there are many scholarships available through government.

Campus Life

Sports facilities are not so good in our college.Infrastructure is good.Library size is decent and good. College doesn't provides a WiFi facilities.Lab are also good.But college should improve their infrastructure.

Hostel Facilities

No.I don't have opted for college hostel.I live in Pg near hostel as the college hostel fees are too much.and hostels are not so good.There are many PG and private hostels available near the college.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. VIIT -a good option?

1) I applied to VIT pune ,COEP pune ,PICT pune,CUMMINS ,PCCOE . I didnt get these colleges because i didnt have percentile for merit for that college i had 95.84 percentile and their cutoff for CS branch was 97 at that time which was difficult for me . 2)students can enroll in our college using MHTCET and JEE mains score .Through cet cell there are cap rounds total three and last one spot round (may have changed now).Apart from this there are no tests or exams to get an admission in this college...Read More
