Remarks

I did not took admissions in this college because I like it. It was a fair college and for my score I was eligible in this college. And Yes, that's it. And it is a fair college. I won't say it is bad.

Course Curriculum Overview

Fair one. I hope the new education policy will make some change. But, current syllabus is not satisfactory. it is all old material. I don't like it and that's why I learn most of the things on my own.

Class Size: 67Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Some startup people actually offered me internship. But, those internships were unpaid. And, I think skills should be values. I would prefer something over nothing. And that's why I do freelancing.

Placement Experience

It is actually a huge group of institutes with small campus so, placements aren't that bad as compared to some other colleges in the city. At the same time it is also not the best for placement. It totally depends on personal study. College doesn't teach the needful.

College Events

Campus life is great. I said life is great because of friends not because of campus. We can actually don't spend lot of time in college. College should be a 24 hour college which my college is not. Unlucky me.

Campus Life

Not so good. It is a small campus actually. Not the best in the city. I will say, it will rank in some of the smallest campus size college in the city. They have actually fitted 4-5 different college in one campus. It is total business.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals

VIIT -a good option?

1) I applied to VIT pune ,COEP pune ,PICT pune,CUMMINS ,PCCOE . I didnt get these colleges because i didnt have percentile for merit for that college i had 95.84 percentile and their cutoff for CS branch was 97 at that time which was difficult for me . 2)students can enroll in our college using MHTCET and JEE mains score .Through cet cell there are cap rounds total three and last one spot round (may have changed now).Apart from this there are no tests or exams to get an admission in this college...Read More
