Remarks

tbh the only choice and was the best course i could get with the marks i had. still better college good staff decent campus. most important thing is that it was autonomous. various cells and clubs to nurture and grow your skills while your journey. better placement opportunities. one of the best college in Pune and in Maharashtra.

Course Curriculum Overview

good and knowledgeable faculty. syllabus is pretty balanced. hands on practice goes hand on hand with the theory for a better understanding. good industrial exposure and also various internship opportunities provided.

placement process and criteria are the same as always there are some good companies like nvidia Amazon and many more. alumni networking for job referrals is good. there are regular webinars on alumni giving industry exposure

College Events

not that much fun but okay one annual fest only. that too not that great. decorations and all are ok but not enough stalls show was great but management weak crowd was big but not managed properly. technical was good while cultural was just okay.

Campus Life

sports is quite weak, wifi is private, library is great and labs ata good too. only one sports ground that too not well maintained. size of the library is great but the books are repeated. wifi is not public but lan wires are available

Hostel Facilities

decent rooms not that spacious but okay. hostels are easy to find but none are actual proper hostels just buildings in residential areas converted into hostel. management is ok. food is always trash.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals

VIIT -a good option?

1) I applied to VIT pune ,COEP pune ,PICT pune,CUMMINS ,PCCOE . I didnt get these colleges because i didnt have percentile for merit for that college i had 95.84 percentile and their cutoff for CS branch was 97 at that time which was difficult for me . 2)students can enroll in our college using MHTCET and JEE mains score .Through cet cell there are cap rounds total three and last one spot round (may have changed now).Apart from this there are no tests or exams to get an admission in this college...Read More
