Remarks

To be honest. This was the suitable college according to my marks. Thats why I choose this college. And many of my friends were here thats why i took admission in this college. But now i am loving it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college is autonomous. And we have our own benefits. Our college keep updating our syllabus according to need of the company. I only hated the chemistry subject as it is not necessary in our strem then too we have to tolerate that subject.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 93000 per year

Placement Experience

Nothing is based on ur accdemics. everything depends upon the kind if skill set you have. And your personality. Every year around 150 companies vist on an average. We have alumni association here which keeps supporting students.

Even if you don't get placed. You will always remember your college life as there are lots of programs. And mainly you will enjoy the politics factor over here. There is students council over here which helds election.

Review for Government Polytechnic, Pune. The dream college for all Punekars.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals

VIIT -a good option?

1) I applied to VIT pune ,COEP pune ,PICT pune,CUMMINS ,PCCOE . I didnt get these colleges because i didnt have percentile for merit for that college i had 95.84 percentile and their cutoff for CS branch was 97 at that time which was difficult for me . 2)students can enroll in our college using MHTCET and JEE mains score .Through cet cell there are cap rounds total three and last one spot round (may have changed now).Apart from this there are no tests or exams to get an admission in this college...Read More
