Remarks

It is one of the best engineering colleges in Maharashtra. And above that, it is located in Pune which is metropolitan city. One major factor is it is located outskirts of the city so that students can focus on their studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is updated every two years as it is an autonomous college. Whereas college keeps various session about industrial exposure, like proffessional skills, soft skills, technical skills, etc. Faculties are good according to their subjects, they're always there for the students to clear their doubts.

Placement Experience

Well I really don't know about placement process, but I've asked seniors and they many job opportunities come in our college at most all of the students get placed every year. Alumni help students who are exemplary in academics as well as technically.

College Events

Every year our college keeps Sci Tech which is technical college event in which students showcase their projects. Also after Sci Tech, cultural event is kept every year. Other than that there are various clubs in our college, which develops students proffessionally as well as technically. And at last there are various sports for the students who are impressive in sports.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals

VIIT -a good option?

1) I applied to VIT pune ,COEP pune ,PICT pune,CUMMINS ,PCCOE . I didnt get these colleges because i didnt have percentile for merit for that college i had 95.84 percentile and their cutoff for CS branch was 97 at that time which was difficult for me . 2)students can enroll in our college using MHTCET and JEE mains score .Through cet cell there are cap rounds total three and last one spot round (may have changed now).Apart from this there are no tests or exams to get an admission in this college...Read More
