Remarks

This college provides a beautiful serene atmosphere for students, it every day tries to introduce new possibilities to the students for a better and healthy career, faculties are worth mentioning, teachers are understanding and friendly. Beautiful society for a highlighting growth of students

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus was updated, and was taught properly, the best faculty was for history of journalism subject- Mrs Sudeshna Das. A great teacher with complete command over her own subject and also worth mentioning teaching skills.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 165000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yes I did work as an intern in an advertisement agency named as Ad6 and also worked on promotions for another company Sideways 6

Placement Experience

As I am from media background, I have little knowledge about my own field and it's worth mentioning that Reva provided us good job opportunities, it provided us references, but placement wasn't provided though it was promised during admission.

College Events

Overall my two years of experience was good but certain issues could be mentioned, like teacher Student bonds, canteen facilities, wifi availability, crisis in practice equipments, usage of internet for project works, lift hustle, corridor shouting kannada speaking teachers and so on. I don't have any grudges but the experience could have been far better, if these issues weren't present.

Campus Life

Very huge campus with ample of possibilities and opportunities. Sports is a very highlighting fact of Reva. Library is spacious and with enough varieties, but equipments they provide to the students for practicing requires attention. everyday lift issue is really a worthless situation, fighting for lift and getting late for classes. teachers avoid talking in English and they mostly prefer speaking in Kannada language and people like us from different states fail to understand, fail to create any bond with the teachers or students, and then unity becomes a negative highlight in such situations.

Our curriculum includes syllabus in regard to that of National Education Policy scheme where in we have 2 core subjects. I chose biotechnology and genetics since it something I really look forward to pursue as my career in the field. We had one subject as open elective which enhanced our curriculum since we could choose from various course every semester. I received confirmation from all but chose REVA due to its affordable fee, transport facilities and good reviews from people. I did not personally apply to other unis because there are not a lot of other unis which provide similar course handled by subject matter experts.
