Remarks

NIT Kurukshetra is a top college and here placement is good. I like its location and facilities very much. I selected this college because I wanted to live nearby my home and it is in my home state. I have heard that there is no ragging here. So I chose it.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are eight semesters in four years to complete the entire course. There is two internal examination followes by an external examination at the end of semester. Overall, the curriculum is organised. The students are provided enough industrial exposure and experience. The faculty members are ocean of knowledge. My favourite professor is Dr Rajesh Kumar.

Placement Experience

The placement is because I chose this college. For CSE and IT departments the placement has been almost 100% and the highest package offered is 40 lakh per annum. For other branches also it is nice. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Wipro, Hero, PSUs, Mahindra, Nest, Flipkart et cetra visit the campus for recruitment. We have alumni which regularly visit the campus and not else is known to me about them.

College Events

The campus life is awesome and you will enjoy every second you spend here. Techspardha and Confluence are the biggest fest celebrated in NIT campus premises. Besides there are Utkarsh, Independence day, Republic day, Gandhi jayanti and other holistic dat celebrated here. These fest are organised at large scale and ut receives participants in huge number.

Campus Life

The campus is very green and beautiful. It covers 293 acres land area and has sports complex, Library, Book Bank, Laboratories, Swimming pool, Bank and Atm, Post office, gymnasium, separate hostels for boys and girls, cafeteria. There is wifi in the campus as well as in hostels.

A walk through Nit kurukshetra

I choose this college cause, I am interested in this branch and I don't have any prior interest in any particular colleges, in this college I am getting the particular branch I am interested in,while there are few colleges which are providing me same branch but they have some limitations like there infrastructure is bad or crowd is not that wonderful like here people are generous and motivated you can't find the same everywhere. Good college for electrical

The admission is only based on JEE Mains Rank. This is a decent college and thus requires decent ranks for good courses. JEE is conducted nationwide by the NTA every year. The process was smooth. You have to first select colleges. You get an allotment and then you verify the docs....Read More
