Remarks

The only factor which drove me to take admission in this college was the number one ranking of the institute for hotel management in India. The students, faculty and professionalism followed in the institute. I opted this course because I wanted to become a chef.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is not updated but the faculities make it easier in the practical classes. Yes more than enough industrial exposure was provided. The faculities are amazing. Anil Kumar Goyal sir is the best teacher for me.

Internships Opportunities

I did my internship form the Leela Ambience Gurugram Hotel and Resideces. The stipend amount was only Rs. 1500/-

Placement Experience

5

Numerous companies visit the college for placements including some notable ones like ITC, Oberoi, Taj, etc. The placement procces depends on which program do you want to go for. The companies takes comparatively good amount of students but due to a large number of companies visiting the institute almost all are placed. The placement department comprises of the faculities and students who do a great job in getting their students get the best placement they can arrange for. There is also a alumini association, PIHMMA of the institute. I don't know much about any entrepreneur and the college also doesn't have any entrepreneur cell or doesn't promote any entrepreneurship program but they motivate the students to become successful entrepreneurs. One of my batchmate, also started a startup named L.S.D. - lick sip dip.

College Events

5

There is a lot of extracurricular activities going on. There is a tech club, dance group-panchtatva, singing group-asavari, orators club - vakta, kitchen team, f&b team, front office team or the welcoming team and so on. The college also takes part in paryatan parv and bharat parv which is a grand festival for the students to get as much exposure as they want if they want to go in the retail business. The college also hosts some ministry events as it is a central government institute.

Fees and Financial Aid

No i have not availed any scholarship/loan facility. As of now there is no scholarship facility offered by the college.

Campus Life

No sports facilities for day scholars just hostellers have badminton court, volleyball court and a basketball court for them to play, no wi-fi, library is not so big but it is well equipped with books concerning the course, there is a biochemistry lab but i haven't been there. It is for PG Diploma students who has chosen the subject concerning the lab.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is not so big. Currently it is only offered to 1rst year students and NRI students. First years are offered three bedded rooms while NRI students get single bedded rooms. It is not easy to get the hostel. There are a lot of PGs especially in patel nagar where most of the students of the college stay. The PGs can cost from 4-8k depending upon the services of the PG.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good and may be seen as average in aspect of my college . I selected my course as I saw myself holding potential in the field of language , English was my strong interest. The curriculum prepares a basic and needed knowledge for everyone accordingly and yes , it may be seen as an important aspect in higher education, experiences from professors and teachers is shared by live demonstrations and examples in order to achieve a good understanding. The improvement in the curriculum may be that of a much regular based classes as there is a frequent cut in classes and sometimes some teachers may slack during the day cancelling classes and stuff . The frequency of exams and timings are arranged and not much complicated related to my course and difficulty may be considered moderate .

In total more than 100 students get placed from the same. My plan after getting the degree is to study M.tech also abroad and then get placed in a good company i always wanted to go and study abroad when i was a child thats why i always prepared and made my extracirrucilars strong but i will surely make and study abroad after completing my bachelors degree.
