Remarks

I always wanted to take admission in a girls' college and this college is purely a girls' college. The college has less politics and calm. The teaching faculties and the union of this college is cooperative.

Course Curriculum Overview

I would say that the B.Com Semester System is all right primarily but the the chapters are not given away accordingly. By cutting out to semester, many chapters are scrapped off. Moreover, this semester system is creating burden on the students to a great extent due to lack of time. We are nothing learning actually. The old system was much better than this. The academics are good enough and the teachers are qualified, educated and helpful. I think these knowledges will surely help me in my future course.

We already had our Campussing in our college. Amazon had visited our college with VCS job opportunities. Quality of the job is not at all fulfilling.

College Events

Rabindra Jayanti, Saraswati Puja, Independence Day, Teachers' Day, Holi Fest, Freshers' are celebrated in the college. Some academics events have taken place in our college such as Seminar on Banking and Financial institution, Lecture on Taxation, Campaigns by Axis bank etc. We have not any seminar room. Students can take part in extracurricular activities such as Debate, Singing, Recitation, Drawings, inter-College events through Students' Union. I had a satisfying campus life throughout the journey with my college.

Campus Life

We have the most poor infrastructure in our college where no sports facilities are there, no wifi is there and the libraries (2) are very much deficient. The books that are piled up into the library are outdated. In fact the libraries have not any good collection.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Niper Kolkata: from starting to end

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.
