Pranav Sundriyal's Review On Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University - [GGSIPU], New Delhi

I chose this university because it had a good reputation and name. The college placement were very good. The college infrastructure was very nice. The faculty staff was very good. The college being in delhi, had a nice english speaking culture.

The college syllabus was appropriate and up to the mark. It had everything we needed to know about marketing. The college provided us industrial exposure too. We had frequent industry visits which gave us good knowledge about the ground reality. The faculties were very nice and were always there to clear our doubts. I found Chadha Sir the best. He had a great teaching style.

I had done an internship with PayTm. I had a stipend of 10,000.

Each year, a lot of reputed companies come to college and select a lot of students. Some of the companies are Amazon, Flipkart, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, HCL, etc. The highest package last year was 25 lac from Google. The college students also had a few startups to their name. The placement department was good.

The college held many technical, cultural and sports festivals on yearly basis. For technical students the college conducted Hackathon which is pretty huge and had participants coming from outside college as well. The college cultural fests were held on every festivals and nearly every college student participated in the conducting of the event. The sports event was huge too. Different streams used to battle against each other in a very good spirit.

The college also provided scholarships to the students who scored more than 85% in each semester. Although the tuition fees was 80000 per annum but the BPL students would get around 60% rebate in the fees

The overall infrastructure of the college was pretty good. The college had good sports facilities and encouraged us to participate in sports as well. The college campus was enabled with a free WiFi which let us download study materials. The library was very good spot to enhance our knowledge. The library was quite big and had books according to everyone's need. The labs were good too. The equipments were up to the mark and always in a working condition.

The hostels were very nice and were equipped with every facility a student would need. Although the hostel fees was not less but the college provided with each and every ammenity. Rooms were given like 2 persons in one room, individual rooms. There were also a lot of PGs around the college which charged 10000 a month. It was pretty easy to avail the hostel facility.
