This college takes studies seriously. Also the faculty members are helpful. There is a constant flow in which our college works and our college is Known for great extracurricular activities too. The students and senior here are also responsible and friendly

Bachelor of business administration is a course which helps you to know about business and commerce factors. This particular course helps to nourish and understand the process by which the business works. Every semester has different subject to understand different aspect of how a job with bcommercial background works

My college campus is huge with three different building that divides three department in three sections- one block for bba one for btech and bca and the last one is for mba student. The students are provided a grand welcome through freshers party and a fest is held every year

Reality of IIT KGP

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

SURTECH REVIEW

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Remarks:

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.

My College Experience Uncovered.

The main reason behind choosing the college over other colleges is it's electrical department's history. The electrical department has received many awards, certificates for the projects development. There was a time when the college had 120 students in the electrical department. Making it one of the highest in the state.
