Reputed in Assam. The teaching faculty is amiable and helpful. The overall environment of the college encourages students to be more productive and creative. Gender biasness in cultural field is less reflective which is why girls can explore and find their innate talents.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculties are knowledgable, helpful and warm. However, the curriculum needs to be upgraded to some extent. Moreover, geography as a subject is a vast arena to explore and students can use the current affair knowledge for better understanding of the subject. In simpler words, geography has real life relevance and it is way more interesting than what is being sufficed in books.
Placement Experience
It needs to develop tremendously. The placement cell is really not functional and haven't heard anyone getting placed from the college's placement wing. Highly disppointed with the placement cell of Cotton.
College Events
Cotton is a hub of cultural activities. It promotes cultural developments and let students explore their talents. The students irrespective of caste, creed, sex, religion and other discrimination are very much appreciated to participate in such events organized by the college.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is upgrading ever single day. The sports facilities are good and promotes greater competition. The labs needs to get hold of new equipments so that students can learn the application of new instruments and apply those knowledge in research activities.
