Remarks

Some of the factors that led me to select this college over any other where it was affiliated with GGSIPU and had good placement records. I used the GGSIPU Official website and MAIT's website to gain knowledge about the college. The admission process was pretty straight forward the Engineering branch was allocated according to the rank of the candidate in CET.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are knowledgeable with most of them holding PhD degrees and some of them pursuing it. The course curriculum isn't updated with current industry standards and college fails to deliver practical knowledge aligned to current technologies. In a semester there are two-term exams followed by final paper at the end of the semester.

Class Size: 52Course Fees: INR 110700 per year

Placement Experience

Campus placement companies start visiting college from 7th semester onwards. No pending backs and college percentage above 70% are some of the requirement for sitting in placement for most companies. Mass recruiting companies like Infosys and Wipro hire the most. Companies recruiting Core students from Electrical and Mechanical that visit campus are less in number. CS/IT placements are good and a lot of companies visit campus to hire them.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are affordable, loan options can be availed easily from any leading banks. Financial assistance can be availed for students having a low family income. Meritorious students with the good passing percentage in class 12th were awarded laptops at 50% discount on market price.

Campus Life

The college has a good infrastructure with AC classrooms and projectors available in each classroom. The college has an excellent Library and Auditorium that are well sanitized and maintained. Book Bank can be availed from the library. Each branch has its own technical society, for Mechanical there are Robotics, Kalam, Jaatayu societies. There are Dramatics and Fashion societies which are common to all branches.

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Placement Experience:

Admission and carrier development cell is there in the college and provides good support but for average packages but for top packages only on your own self you have to grab them. One campus packages are between 3 lakhs 5 lakhs up to 10,20 lacs and highest once even up to 64 lakhs but off campus goes up to crore.

Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

A decent college

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.

Reality of MAIT

I applied in Bennet University,JIIT, Amity University and GGSIPU. I got into all except jiit, i chose ggsipu as MAIT is the number 1 ranking college in ggsipu. I couldn't be shortlisted in Jaypee institute of information and technology as i wasn't able to pass their Jee criteria. why i choose this college - for my jee mains rank (air 67890) this was the best college that i was getting in delhi thats the main reason i chose this college.
