Entrance Preview

I had appeared in AIEEE 2010 and got 25948 all india rank i'd chose nirma because nirma is considered to be one of the college of gujarat and it has a very smooth track record when it comes to placement.

Placement Experience

There are many companies like tcs,infosys,petrochemicals comes in nimra every year for placement and placement records are very high. Almost every student get placed from my 2010 batch.

College Events

RCNI organized techfest and electrama are one of the best festival coming in end of september every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Gujarat governmet itself provide scholarship for weaker section and for engineers if you got 7.5 cgpa then you will be eligble for 10000 per semester.

Campus Life

Mainly in engineering college.you dont see much girls in the campus. When you find around 10% girls in every classroom in nirma. Yes there are many clubs who organize robotice debates and lot more educational techfest.

Faculty

The kind of guidance and practical knowledge you get you cannot get in any other college of gujarat.

Placement Experience:

->in the third year itself the placements will be started the students must score >=7 cgpa in their academics. ->till now microsoft came we dont have idea how much offers they made. ->previous highest packege was 43 lpa and the average will be of 5 to 6 lpa. ->90% ->im preparing to secure a job in a product based company.

Courses like physics chemistry engineering drawing economics are unnecessary in computer science . Because of this this cources we could not focus on coding which is primary requirement in computer science.

Placement Experience:

The placement in by branch are good enough in last year 2024 a student got package of nearly 42 lakh per year from computer branch. The average package in computer branch is nearly 10 to 12 LPA . Different companies visits our college to give placement to the students. The major companies ask about the students who have 8 + CGPA . Students become eligible from the 7th semester itself for campus placements. The collge gives perfect data of the student who are placed in different different companies.in year 2023 88% of the students were succcessufully placed in companies.Including all branches average package was of 7 LPA but for computer science students the average package was 10 to 12 LPA.In petrochemical branches the highest package was 24 LPA . and average package was nearly about 6.5LPA.The IT companies such as Google , Microsoft, Reliance , TATA visiits the college to give placement to the students of computer science.The total of 550 +students got the offer from various companies from all branches of btech and nearly 175 companies visited to the campus of the collegeAfter i get the degree the college pdeu i wil do the job for 2 to 3 years in some good companies after that my plan is to do startup means i want to start my buissness such as making an app , etc.. In PDEU the number of students getting placed are good enough even students getting good offcampus packages than oncampus becaus the student become capable of doing work or finding good work. There are some of the students not getting the jobs on campus they try offcampus and thy get the job.

Itm Vocational University scam

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to be able to code which i really liked as i opted computer science in my optional in 10th. Itm provided international certifications and good subjects which later were changed and then no international certifications were done due to covid. The basic faculty to student ration was probably 1:10 . for every 10 students there was a faculty atleast for btech because it was only 50 students in our whole batch so there were no sections. All of our teaching faculty kept changing in each semester and basically were not qualified enough as some did not even complete masters or gave a gate exam. The teaching proscess were horrible because there were no computer facility provided and it was a scam to go to college for practicals because we would just play outside. no laptops allowed and there were no wifi spots to use net in our computer labs. The exams were also a pretty bad organised mess because they did not know what to teach in recurring subjects.

Spitting Facts

The eligibility of admission in the college, there are two ways through merits one is through ACPC and the other is through JEE. Through ACPC rank that is the rank generated by the combination of boards percentile and the gujcet score,for CSE department in general category the cutoff is around 400 rank. And through JEE the cut off percentile is 97. Other admission processes are the management and the gulf quota. Know this before choosing Nirma.

I have applied in many colleges of Gujarat including LD, VGEC, Adani, Ahmedabad University, BVM, DDU, DDIT and obviously Nirma. At first I thought that computer engineering is the only course at today we should choose but after some research I found that Electronics and Communication is also an emerging field in this decade. I get admission through JEE Mains score. You can also get admission through 12th board and GUJCET score basically on the basis of ACPC rank. Application form is available on Nirma University website. Appliaction fees is around 1000/- approximately also you can check on website if any changes happen in fees.
