Remarks

This is one of the biggest university of India. This is first agriculture university of India.this university has its own fame.this is near my hometown.thre are 8 different colleges for different degree programs in this university.the campus area and infrastructure is remarkable.this is first choice of icar students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is informative and thorough.the practical knowledge is more important in this course.this is semester system based 4 year degree program.every semester ends with 2 internal 1 external and one lab final exam.thats how CGPA is decided.the faculty devotes all there time for us.we have to give 85% attendance for appearing in external exams.

Class Size: 23Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

The are so much opportunity of jobs.there is entrepreneur ship cell for contacting different organizations and companies for jobs and placement.there are several alumini meets all over the year for career counseling and bonding between students and alumini's.

The campus life is so good as I personally like the campus it's so big and beautiful.the schedule is tight but there are many others events organised parallel to our studies for our all round development.there are several societies of different colleges and also there are student based societies.there several national level events organised.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is quite good as various companies from all over the country show up at DBS for the internships and placements such as HDFC, Deloitte, Haffele, TCS etc. There are barely any student who dont get placed. As for my plans after getting my bachelor's degree is to either work for a good company if and when i get placed otherwise definitely grab the offer for the masters degree in management.

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.
