Remarks

Very good faculty, satisfying study material and good laboratory. Very good placement and excellent gate results and college also gives chance to take preparation on about various job exams. Very eco friendly areas and accommodation system is also very satisfying.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our syllabus was updated 2 years ago.I think. Yes, our college has provided enough industrial exposure with collaboration with TCS only for cse iot, cse aiml, csbs students. Our faculties are of national and international levels. They always work hard on our study. One of my favourite faculties is Reshmi Ghosh.our class teacher

More about 90 companies visited our college. Highest package is 40 lpa in our college. Our all alumni and Deans always help us at the time of placement. Our students have created so many start ups till now in our college.

Our technical fest, cultural fest and management fests.all are very good.but our college is too disciplined in every purpose. Actually we have a great disciplined life in college.our college is so disciplined in about attendance.

Campus Life

Yes.we have some sports facilities. We have free wi fi zone in between college. Our library is of world class level.there are so many national and international books and journals also. Besides that we have also a digital library. Our lab equipment is of very good quality.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Heritage Law College is Lovely!!

Placement Experience:

Number of students who have been placed is far less than what it should be ideally. Kolkata is a paradise for law practice as it is the largest city of India and lawyers have always been in demand here. Still only 30% of the students are placed here and that's a big issue considering the name of our college.

Most of the students also get placement opportunities whether large or small package The opportunity is given to all degree whether it be bcom or bcom hons . Any student who does not get placed can easily use the degree to get a high paying off campus placements and to go to any good college or stay in this college for their post graduation.

The course curriculum is backdated and should be improvised as it doesn't give any exposure of present industry knowledge. The frequency of exams is that exams are held after 6 months on semester basis and are easy to pass and majority of the students pass this semester easily.

Decent government college which needs to improve.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is obviously outdated and the knowledge we get through it, is bookish and does not apply to present industry methods. This way we are given no exposure to the real life industry knowledge. The exams are held on semester basis after every 6 months and are easy and manageable.

So I take admission through WBJEE in IEM KOLKATA in B.tech in electrical engineering. So now I talked about eligibility criteria:- You should pass your +2 from any board with a maximum of 60% Admission in this college is 3 types WBJEE, JEE MAIN, IEMJEE all three forms you will get notified by college dunia if you have an account in it. So the IEM KOLKATA is one of the best private colleges in Kolkata and you can say in India also so the cuttoff goes very high you have to get minimum rank for this college. This college admission procedure takes 2 days 1st admission to the college it will take 6 hours. 2nd makaut registration will take next 4 to 5 hours.
