top 20 college of India. and reference by family members to join in the university. The college dont have much placements but good with academics was what everyone told me. But, its not true. And it's not University anymore.

Out dated education system, master graduates are the faculty for most of the subjects in the courses, zero placement for civil Engineering from campus, unless you get admission through consultants you wont get any scholarship in fee, i have 8.4 in 12th and i paid full amount since i came directly to college admission. My friend with 7.5 had 25% scholarship. College will never help you with getting scholarship.

I worked has intern in my uncle's company I dont want to get the details of the company. Im not paid for the work. It's for experience. I worked has assistant site manager, and assistant public relations officer for 1 month. The role is to assign the work to everyone and make sure there are no errors in the work. Periodic updates regarding every work. Has public relations officer you get to understand how handle the people who try to stop the work and get money out of it.

The college don't help you with placement, in my department there are zero placements through college, the college announces that the students are placed even if they got placed with off campus interview. You will be asked to learn coading in least year of graduation. Only IT companies come to recruit all the departments. No company related to core of biotechnology or chemical or civil visited the university. The university is incapable of getting companies to college. Better go for off campus interview and get a job. don't depend on college and wait for them to get you an opportunity.

All the events are conducted with money collected by students only. No college money will be given to help students in conducting the fest. If a fest is conducted then its huge, there will be celebrities has chef guest, rain dance, dance battles all events have price money for winners. It happens once on 2 years. Mostly dont take the job to work for it. Participant in the even is better dont take the orginzer role.

College dont offer any student a scholarship unless the come through consultants, the erp is always with errors, which shows you never paid the fee, always keep every payment receipt with you, you'll be called out sudden and says you dint pay the fine. The fines are unreasonable and always before exams they ask you to pay fines and never explain what the fines are for even the faculty wont help you with this.

Good library, gym, only play ground for basketball and ncc. Labs are well equipped and library is one of the best. Make sure you return the books on time or the fines to heavy on your shoulders. Wifi is 1gb per student worst speed. Dont even think of using it. You even access your Facebook with it. Sports is a joke in our college. Indoor stadium for badminton is only good one for playing but will be occupied by seniors all the time.

Hostels are not worth the amount of fee, dont pay before you see the hostel. Better to join a pg in the first year to understand how things are around and before you make friend's. In the 2nd year i suggest you to take a rental appartment with friends and with agreement that they all will pay the rent. Its a huge problem when one of them refuse to leave in between the agreement, agreement between roommate is important. Advance should be payed by everyone and dont pay more dont pay for others. Consult senior's for less advance rentals.
