Remarks

This is the first agriculture university and one of the biggest university of India. this university has 8 different colleges for different degree programs.the Infrastructure and campus area is also impressive.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is informative and thorough.the practical knowledge is more important in this course.this is a semester system based 4 year degree program.each SEM ends with 2 internal 1 external and one lab final exam. University provided every facility for our better learning.the faculty devotes all there time for our learning,they are Frank and makes a very good environment throughout the class.

Class Size: 22Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

There are various job opportunities in this course.there are many sectors we can apply.there is entrepreneur ship cell for contacting different organizations and companies for jobs and placement.there are several alumini meets for career counseling and bonding between the students and alumini's

The campus is big but there are fun zones like shopping malls, theatre.but throughout university wr can walk as there is peace and greenery.the condition of stadium is good and well maintained.the library is also one of my favourite places.there are many societies for conducting different events for personality development.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is quite good as various companies from all over the country show up at DBS for the internships and placements such as HDFC, Deloitte, Haffele, TCS etc. There are barely any student who dont get placed. As for my plans after getting my bachelor's degree is to either work for a good company if and when i get placed otherwise definitely grab the offer for the masters degree in management.

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.
