Remarks

Close to home, easy transport, cut off criteria for Economics honors being too high in the campus colleges. Good faculty for economics. I opted economics because I love the subject and have a great understanding of it.

Course Curriculum Overview

All good. Curriculum can be confusing sometimes and it takes the DU board Tine to finalise the syllabus before each semester but over all it covers most of the bases and is satisfactory. Faculties could be better but they are still way better than I thought they'd be so I'm nit complaining much.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 36000 per year

Placement Experience

We have a placement cell who keep us informed about all the internships being offered by different companies. During my first year there was an internship seminar where many different companies came to get new recruits. I wasn't able to attend due to some health issues but from what I heard from my classmates, a lot of students participated and tried their hand at getting interesting internships though only some of them could actually work with the companies because this was immediately followed by the lockdown due to which many companies laid off workers and dropped the internship programmes.

College Events

They were good. Can't say in detail since we didn't have much time to find out before the lockdown was imposed. There are various societies and competition to help break us into the college life. Many fests and seminars to widen our experience and exposure as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is inefficient and ineffective in building real lawyers. Simply mugging up case laws is not enough to be a lawyer. There's a serious need for du to fix its curriculum and examination tactics. They should really reconsider this.

VIPS is a great place!!

Placement Experience:

For placements at VIPS, are not God level but no less too. Every student here gets a chance to intern with top law firm and then either get to work with them or corporate houses like Aditya Birla Group, Johnson & Johnson and HUL among others are the private players who sign us with an average annual package of 8.25 lakhs.

Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd year. Very prominent companies like Deloitte visits for campus placement. The post of data analysts, consultant etc are offered. The highest package offered till now is of 49lpa which was from Economics hons.

From 10th semester students start getting placement offers.. I din not recall some company names.. but they are not big names they are just normal law firms. Highest package one can get is 4 LPA. Very less students go for placement. My plan after degree is to study for judiciary exam.

First of all I got admission in rajdhani college , delhi university I know it lies in off campus . I had also applied for soo much good colleges but I got this cause obviously I couldn't clear cutt off marks but my marks were good like it was around 683 but I was not aware about much things it was totally lack of knowledge . For taking admission in this college I registered my self to csas portal which is important for taking admission in du there are three stages 1. Filling you personal details 2. Your academic and mapping subject of 12 and cuet 3. It was all about your preference the college and campus you prioritize In third stage you have to make a preference list I've made of my own but before the result there comes another raw data showing your rank according to your preference in different subjects and college so I changed my preference list nd hence got rajdhani college in phase 1 itself although I had a choice to upgrade but I didn't because Rajdhani college was 25 in my preference list and colleges above that doesn't provided me course of my choice...Read More
