Likes

The staff is really amazing. The teachers are well versed in their respective subjects.
Campus is really peaceful and beautiful. Lots of food and places to go nearby.

Dislikes

They give no time or wiggle room for internships or sharpening your skills.
The course is very very vast and you will have to memorise a lot

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is inefficient and ineffective in building real lawyers. Simply mugging up case laws is not enough to be a lawyer. There's a serious need for du to fix its curriculum and examination tactics. They should really reconsider this.

Fees and Financial Aid

Its fairly cheap in du. Every semester i have been charged a different fee. Its increasing. (General category) 1st sem- ?3000 2nd sem- ? 5000 3rd sem- ? 7000 (Reserved category)- students who belong to this category would have to pay significantly less

Campus Life

Infrastructure is okay. No AC in classes. We do have lifts and its fairly clean. Student life sucks. Not a lot of active societies in the college. The crowd is questionable at best. Overall i think for this category you are better off at jindal.

Admission

Bhartiya vidyapeeth accepted me as a student but du is well respected and the value of its degree is greater because many of the sc sitting judges are former students of law faculty. The fee is low and affordable. Its the best college in india to persue a 3 year course in law.

Faculty

Every year only 2 semester exams take place of 100 marks each subject. There are 5 subjects in each semester. You are given 8 questions and you have to answer any 5. The marking is generally really strict. The faculty is great and experienced. 75% of the students fail atleast 1 subject so take these exams seriously.

Night Life

Night life is actually great. Lots and lots of hang out spots out there. Fairly safe as well. North campus absolutely never sleeps. You can easily make friends and find your people in the campus though.

A brief review of Law Centre II DU

Placement Experience:

There is not much scope in campus placement . As it is a course with large no. of student. You can start after internship after 1st year. You can go for state judicial services exam after LLB,or go for litigation. In initial days there is struggle for a small time but if you have a good drafting ,speaking, skills you can ace in this profession.

The Truth About FACULTY OF LAW

Placement Experience:

Mostly third year students are eligible for placement. Some of the companies visited in year 2024 are kotak mahindra bank, craft legal outsourcing pvt. Ltd. Average package is 5 lakhs. Only 1-5 students are selected. I want to work in corporate law, I am currently searching for internship in this field.

Admission:

University of delhi - A dream of many

It was all pre planned that I have to opt for bcom hons course. Your admission in university of delhi is all based upon your cuet exam score. Cuet is a all india entrance exam that allows your entry to various colleges around india Same is with delhi university. Admission is based upon scores you got. So basically I have applied in around 80 colleges of Delhi University with the combination of both bcom hons course and bcom. Starting from the top I had listed the top colleges like SRCC, LSR etc. But As my score was around 681/800 and also belonging from general category it is quite difficult to get admission in such a course.
