It provides a perfect environment to build the career in the way we want and college management is also very supportive to the students and through innovation centre they will also provide good amount of financial support to the students who are coming up with some innovative ideas to begin a startup or so.

Entered through GATE 2015 admission is made through prestigious all India entrance GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering). It is one of the top 5 NIT's in India having a sprawling 250 acres campus with well equipped laboratories and highly furnished classroom atmosphere and in a picturesque location with high scenic beauty. Coming to the academics the college offers coures in engineering and also management courses like MBA,MCA and also sciences.

Course design is industry oriented and there are many companies prefering our college. The student to professor ratio is very high thait is 1:27 and there is a high number of doctorate expertise in various branches of science, technology, engineering and management.

My internship experience is very well and I am currently pursuing my intern in one of the prestigious organizations in India that is National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) which is under ISRO(Dept. Of Space).

Placements is one of the most important criteria for this institute's recognition. The top most MNC's like Microsoft, Google in software and also many core companies like seimens, l and t, are visiting the campus offering high packages upto 80 lacs p.a.

The Ultra Mega 1.8 k hostel commonly known as Butterfly Hostel becuase of its design is one of the biggest hostels standing 10 floor height with fully furnished rooms and elevators which are continuously operated and maintained. Apart from this there is Mega hostel 1K and DASA hostel for international students studying in the institute and also brand new hostels separately for girls like priyafarshini hostel and others like old hostels. Coming to food there are Ganga,Narmada and kauveri messes for the students and are run by government. There are also Institute food courts IFC A and IFC B which have capacities to provide food for more than 1000 students. Quality of food served is also very good here in all the messes.

All India merit scholarships given by many organisations are also a part of the academic encouragement for the students. Merit scholarships like IOCL scholarships and also alumni scholarships are a part of this programme.
