This college is one of the best Govt. college after IIT Bbsr,IIIt bbsr and NIT Rourkela.This college is known for its placement and fest.People are placed in NALCO with package above 10 lakhs,so gave OJEE Exam and took admission

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers were helpful but they can be more cooperative in student matters, they should try to give some practical knowledge alongside the theory part that is already vastly present in the course. The curriculum is relevant, but in my view, the course can be a bit specific to make students industry-ready.

Class Size: 43Course Fees: INR 240000 per year

Placement Experience

Around 60 percent of students were placed in my course in various companies. The highest package was around 3.5. while the average was around 3-3.2 Lacs per annum. Arvind, Vardhaman, Aditya Birla, Century Enka are some of the companies that are top recruiters.

College Events

Wi-Fi is available, labs are available but the infrastructure could improve a lot. So there is a lot of scope of improvement in that aspect. The classroom infrastructure can also be improved up to some extent. The quality of th hostel is quite good with good food and Wi-Fi.One of the best fest in the city and good clubsrunned by seniors.

Placements are quite good. Thats precisely why i chose this college . The highest offer last year was 52 lpa . Other than that average package is 6 to 8 lpa for cse students . Mostly all students get placed . A few companies that come for placements are Infosys, TCS , JP Morgan , Deloitte , Bookings holidays , Cognizant, Accenture .

A Good University

First of all mainly because of the location it is situated. It is in the Captial Region. I got some seats in NIT-R but didn't go because the seats that i got is all 5 year course and i don't want to study for longer period of time. So the admission process is quite simple. I did apply for Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla and Indira Gandhi Technology, Sarang but i preferred this college just because of its location in town Bhubaneswar. I didn't get rejected basically it was a councelling process in which i got alloted a seat in this college.
