Remarks

Good coding environment, near metro station, placement is average 5-6lpa Total fee is 70000 which is affordable for me. This main campus for GGSIPU. All fest and event are happen in main campus. Library is double floor and air conditioned. Lab for all required subject like software, microprocessor, electronic.

Course Curriculum Overview

In USICT only 3 branch ECE,CSE,IT for b.tech syllabus is of 2010 which need to update. Most of the permanent teacher are PHD in there field so knowledge of teaching is good and teacher very helpful.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 52000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

Avg placement is 5-6 lpa. Company like Infosys, Accenture, Paytm nagrro, TCS (mass recruiter) etc. there is placement department which manager placement activity. Highest package offer in 2019 is 28 lpa at Amazon AWS. Alumni job referral is quite low. Because no of students in Engineering passed every year is 240-300 only

College Events

The tech fest of USICT is infoxpression In October of every year mostly coding and electronic competition happen. Cultural fest is anugoonj which happens in February. Around 10000 students come from same campus and affiliated institute. Only ipu students are allowed. this is 3 day event

Fees and Financial Aid

Indian bank is in campus which provides loan. Scholarship is based on Delhi government but less no of scholarship.

Campus Life

University is established in 1998 and most of building are new and we'll maintained engineering class room have projector which for all students and teachers, WiFi in library and hostel only. There is big football ground,2 basketball court one for tennis and badminton, Every year in November sports meet is happening of GGSIPU in which all college affiliated participated.

I feel like the curriculum is a little out dated and boring but due to a good faculty it makes the course more worthwhile The curriculum is very text based and less practical and more emphasis on bookish knowledge persists still .

Placement Experience:

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

Campus Life:

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically

I applied to JOSAA counselling for NITs/IIITs but did not get tech branches in those colleges,. I also applied for JAC Delhi counselling for DTU,NSUT,IIITD but did not get desired seat and branch. The admission process is entirely based on the NIMCET entrance exam. One should achieve a good rank in the NIMCET entrance exam in order to get admission to this college. The eligibility for getting admission in MCA is that you should have math's or computer science in your bachelors and have got at least 55% marks in your bachelors. If I talk about reservations, IPU reserves around 60% of the seats for Delhi students.
