Remarks
The main factor that made me choose PSG was that it had a good position in the college rankings compared to others, and moreover I felt that it would mould me into a successful engineer. I opted Biomedical engineering due to its demand in the future.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course follows the updated one(2019 syllabus). We weren't provided with enough industrial exposure but through orientation programmes one can get an insight to the scope of bioengineering. Faculties have the enough knowledge about the course and they deliver lectures in an effective manner, citing the real life applications of them
Placement Experience
Placements in core companies are rare, but information that we juniors get is that most of our passed outs work as biomedical engineers in PSGISMR.
College Events
As PSG is a home to lots of Clubs, it helps us in developing a lot of characteristics and moulding us into a capable candidate. It also helps us in connecting with the senior members,(seniors are really friendly and helpful)
Hostel Facilities
Girls Hostel in our college is particularly safe for us, and we have different sharing ranging from 2 persons per room to 6 members in a room. A lot of restrictions are present, but those benefit us.
