Our faculty is far more better we got real world problem solving skills we had enough industrial visits. Forest research institute Dehradun best place similarly SDAU Gujarat was good enough we had been there for Agriunifest

For me it was brilliant don't know about others I got to participate In more than 30 events during my course and I really enjoyed it. I have participated in two Agriunifests out of state and got second position in one of Agriunifest all over india

For scholarship we need to qualify icar jrf exams without which it's not possible and once you get admitted in college on the basis of merit in semester exams you're supposed to get scholarship of rupees 6000

We just got sports ground there our faculty is underdeveloped as far as library is concerned or equipment labs they are well furnished. We have got smart classrooms over there 100% practical knowledge is given

You can get the hostel as well as pg facilities easily. Comfortable and inviting rooms with plenty of clean and functional bathrooms funny and educated staff over there free wifi, good location and book exchanges

Course Curriculum Overview:

Agriculture subject is practical oriented and you will enjoy visiting agriculture fields and that was the sole reason i choose this field. The curriculum is well designed and you will not feel any problem while helping farmers in real world.. Improvement needed in practical work i.e more practical work should be done.

MY COLLEGE EXPERIENCE: A COMPLETE REVIEW OF DOGRA COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course includes subjects that are beneficial for me. For example: Gender and Society – teaches me about society’s orthodox traditions and norms. Indian Knowledge System – explains how India’s knowledge has evolved over time. Literature – provides an overview of English literature, excluding stories and poems, and focuses only on the parts that are useful for us. Environmental Studies – gives knowledge about our surroundings, including living and non-living things. Political Science – a systematic study of the structure and behavior of the state and political institutions. Logical Reasoning – the best part of the course, very useful for our knowledge as well as civil services and defense exams. Law and Society – will help me in my further studies in law. Personally, the two specific subjects that made me choose this course were Law and Society and Logical Reasoning, because these subjects are rarely available elsewhere and will be very beneficial for me. The teachers are good at teaching, but there is a need to make changes in the teaching methods. As of now, there are only blackboards or whiteboards, whereas instead there should be smart panels, which would make learning more interactive and keep students engaged. Exams are held about two months after the semester begins — first internals and then externals. There is generally a two-month gap between the two. I believe the difficulty level depends on how deeply we understand the concepts and how well we prepare, although overall the difficulty is usually easy to moderate.

I didn't applied for any other college my first and last choice was this college and i got it. For admission in this college : If you are residing in J&K you have to give UET Ug exam which is conducted by SKUAST-K and after that you will get admission on merit base. If you are not residing in J&K then you can come through ICAR counselling after clearing CUET Ug exam. Cut off is high so prepare well....Read More

I only applied to this college due to its good NIRF ranking and also heard of the better environment here. I gave NEET exam but not able to crack that. To enter here you have to give SKUAST- K UET exam if you are from J&K and if you are from other states then you can take admission via ICAR councelling based on CUET exam. Most students came through SKUAST K UET and remaining through ICAR councelling.
