Remarks

Eligibility for this was on a merit basis. This college comes under Kashmir University, So University selects students on a merit basis for this course. One can apply for the admission process from the College admission block once selected from Kashmir University. The change that I want to see in the admission process is that it should be online.

I choose this course because I was from a commerce background. Talking about the faculty of this college, the faculty members are well qualified and friendly with students. The faculty members are highly skilled and qualified and the teaching method in this college is improving day by day. Faculty members are using now different teaching methods to make students ready for the outside environment.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 2000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fee for this course was 25000 for 3 years. The fee is very less because it is a government college. Post matric scholarship is given in this college. The placement cell in this college is not active, So. I got no job at this college.

Campus Life

The annual fest which is conducted every year in this college is Eid fest. The library of this college is well equipped and almost 50k books are in the library of this college and one can get any book or journal from this library. Sports events take place every month in this college like cricket tournaments, volleyball, badminton, kabaddi, etc.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel of this college is well maintained and rooms of the hostel are best. You get two beds, two lockers, a study table, etc in the hostel room. The meal given in the hostel is hygienic and good as compared to other hostels. Once you get admission to the college, then you need to submit a separate form to get a room in a hostel and the rent for a hostel is 25000 per year including mess fees. If one wants to get a rented room outside the locality, he can get easily in the nearest locality like Khwajabagh, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i choose the course BBA because i want to persue mba further for placement reasons. i think the improvements needed in this course should be in the teaching staff , classworks , teaching skills , timetables etc . exams are held every month known as T exams and the difficulty is medium ! if you qualify these T exams then you will be able to sit in the semister exam otherwise you will automatically get a backlog and if your attendance is below 50% you wont be able to sit in the Ts that will result in automatic backlog

Placement Experience:

Most of the time 6-semester students get placements offered and most of them are in the commerce stream and not many in other streams I must say, though the degree doesn't matter there should be some serious discussion on that. Not a lot of companies visit this institution, most of them are private sector companies, public/private banks, the Mumbai stock exchange, etc. The salaries the student gets after placement is almost 15000-20000Rs in starting and above 40000 would be a rare case. The percentage of students getting placements is between 40-50%. Well my plans after I will complete my degree is like I would be to prepare for the foreign country exam and try to go and start working on my career from there that's decided and there will be no change in my plans, it's my dream to live a good, very healthy and happy lifestyle there and you know the situation in our country is not as it's in other countries, and life is different there.

The administration of admission is very limited.
