Abhishek Patil's Review On MVJ College Of Engineering - [MVJCE], Bangalore

I enjoyed my college life, really miss my college college life is good if you have bunch of friends around you to enjoy else any college would be bad MVJ management is ok ok they make rules which they think are good , they don't think in the perspective that the rules could effect the students badly.

I got into engineering by clearing the KCET exam i had many other choices like Computer science , civil engineering , mechanical engineering etc, but the reason why I choose ECE isthat I was eager to know many new things like everybody has a mobile phone and everybody know how to use it, but we electronic students get a chance to learn its internal working. All these things excited me to select ECE.

Course curriculum was quite good.I don't know much about other departments but ECE had a very good faculty now 80% of the staff in ece department has been replaced by new faculties. I don't have any idea about them.

Respect to our placement director RAVI sir because of him, all of us got many different opportunities in various MNC some reputed companies like NOKIA, ELLUCIAN, QUEST GLOBAL etc have provided internships to the people meeting their criteria.The pay was some were around 15-20k.

M V J College placement was quite good at placements , it has now reached a different level after RAVI sir (placement director) has joined the college almost 80-90% have been placed in many reputed MNCs like IBM, NOKIA, TCS, EUROFINS,ELLUCIAN, DELL, EMC, HP etc.

Coming to events, MVJ was good at it during are span of engineering many international tech conference were held, some conducted by IETE , IEEE etc some managers of reputed companies like GE were in our college share their views about the jobs and other stuff a national tech fest was also held in our college were many students from various college participated. The non-technical events are awsome the college fest is called SWAYAM there will be many different events in it, last year we had various dance competitions whose wining prices were upto 65 we had DJ nights, stunt biking by south Indias best stunt bikers (TVS Stunt Biking team) and lots of fun around.

Since the placement has now been very good, so the fee will be a bit high all that matters in engineering is PLACEMENTS the fee of college for students coming to college through government seats would be around 50k and payment seats depends upon the branches.

Every scholarship details are attached to the noticed, you can just follow the steps and avail the scholarships many students availed various scholarship.

Campus life in MVJ is a bit hard, because of its strict nature to be very frank, TAMILIANS AND MALLUS are given more preference then any other students. That's really bad coming to sports , MVJ is ranked in top 10 for sports, it has a very good history for sports robotics and other clubs are there in the college but not such effective.

Our seniors were really helpful they use to guide us like which subject to choose how to score good and all.
