The management is very transparent one needs to understand what is one's requirement and place the same before the concerned authority the principal, vice-prencipal, hod's, registrar etc all are approachable people.

COMED-K in 2005. It replaced K-CET for ROI Students. Scored some 80/120 marks. Got a rank of 1200's from a total of 20k.Counselling process was a bit complicated. There was no central counselling for all the colleges student had to register individually at each college for counselling.

Let me start by saying that Engineering is not for everybody as it is with a Professional Course, the curriculum demands a lot of focus and hard work. Student's needs to be proactive.Teachers are as good as the students wish them to be. Students need to extract the maximum out of their teachers. And the teachers at MSRIT were very helpful and offered a lot of support.

Internship was facilitated by the college the stipend depended on multiple factors, mainly being the student's capabilities and his / her bargaining abilities with the organisation company, the nature of internship (desk job or field work), whether the organisation is an MNC or a local firm.

Placements were good during my stay they could have been better companies like Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Wipro and many more came for students in the IT Sector for Mechanical and Electrical Branches, Tata Group including Tata Motors, Taj Hotels came avg Package was 3.5LPA.

Each dept holds it's own Cultural cum Technical fest this is separate from the Annual Cultural and Annual Technical fests that the college holds for dept fest, same dept students are also invited from the other colleges the college fest is only of college students recently they started an inter M S Ramaiah Colleges Cultural fest. In this all MSR groups of colleges (Engineering, Medical, Dental, Arts, Commerce, Degree, MBA etc) took part.

Tuition Fees was different for students fee structure is based on domicile and other conditions like General, SC/ST, OBC categories i paid 1LPA for my 4years.

No scholarship loans that I availed. It all depends upon the bank and the student. A lot of banks offer student loans. Whether a student can get them is his/her and the banks matter.

Lot of options in sports, be it Football, Basketball, Hockey or Cricket. For getting selected only one thing counts: your performance in that sport. MSRIT boasts on the best labs for all it's departments. Student's are required to learn and operate mechanical, electrical, electronics equipments as well as handling Chemicals.

Hostel infrastructure was ok during my stay hostel is defined by it's students rather than the facilities we had one of the most colourful bunch of people mess can be good to bad depending upon personal tastes hostel fees is separate from tuition fees.

Alumni Network is ok it needs to be built for having a better partnership with the College and it's student most of the Senior Students are good. Respect them and you will have a fruitful association with them.

Semester Exams were conducted on University Schedule during my stay. Minimum One day gap was given between 2 papers (assuming that you had no backlogs). Sometimes (including weekends) 2day time was also given between papers. As for the internal assessment exams, it was conducted 3times during a semester, for which the best of 2 scores were taken and an avg was assigned.
