Good highlights teachers are very helpful students must approach them with clear mind and intentions ample opportunities are there to be grabbed, be it Academics, Sports, or Cultural Activities make sure that you find your inclination and pursue the same.

Gave COMED-K in May 2005. Got a Rank in range of 800's from a total of 20k plus candidates.Among the Many colleges in Bangalore, decided on MSRIT as:- Infrastructure: It has well designed buildings, open spaces, separate hostels for boys and girls, playgrounds, well stocked libraries. MSRIT also has all the core branches related infrastructure, which is not available in many other colleges. Various Machines for Mechanical & Civil Branches, on which it is necessary for students to work. Chemistry Labs and Materials Lab for Chemical Branch, where one can not only see, instead have to use them as well. Multiple Electrical and Electronic Labs for Electrical and other Circuit Branches. Separate Computer Labs for separate purposes. Well designed classrooms that can serve as Smart Classrooms as well as traditional ones.

As it is in any professional degree, course structure and the curriculum is rigorous. The staff is well qualified and motivated. The teachers want and make efforts for their students to understand the "what and why of the subject" also apart from regular teaching.

Personally did not do Intern-ship as for the Companies that came for Interns: IBM, Microsoft, Accenture, (among the ones I can recall, and that too only for CSE branch).

Very good list is for CSE only, and only that I can recall companies that came with offer (values are approximate)Infosys at 4LPA, Wipro at 3.8LPA, Accenture at 4.1LPA, TCS at 4.1LPA, IBM at 3.5LPA, MindCube - Did not list LPA, Host of many other companies also came.

Each Branch has it's own Cultural cum Technical Festival each year. That is around 5-8 festivals conducted by Branches. The College's own Cultural Festival is separate. For each Branch Festivals, anything form 500-2000 students (including from other colleges as well) participate. The College Cultural fest is only for MSRIT Students (5000+), which also attracts a lot of visitors from other colleges. Also, there is a MSR group festivals held every year. The venue keeps rotating between the various colleges of the group.

Campus Life is good gender Ratios, as it is in any Engineering College, heavily loaded towards boys, especially in Core Branches ample opportunities are there to be grabbed, be it Academics, Sports, or Cultural Activities make sure that you find your inclination and pursue the same.

Hostels are decent enough during my stay new Hostels should be operational now. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The food was ok mess is strictly vegetarian. As for Seats, this should not be a problem of availability as the new hostel is build and operational.
