Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus is fully updated with good teaching faculties who continuously work on the improvement of the students by conducting extra-curricular activities and skill improvement sessions. Industrial visits are organized by the college every year to get students exposure to the Industry.

Placement Experience

Placements are quite good and the reputed companies like Amul, L&T, Dabur, TCS, ITC, HDFC and many more visits the campus every year for the placements and the internships as well. Placements processes are generally done by shortlisting the CV of the candidate by the company followed by the basic aptitude test, Gd & then PI.In addition to this,Alumni Network is quite strong and plays a major role in the placement of the students.

College Events

"INFERNO" is the biggest fest in the college organized every year where huge number of participants come from different colleges and show their talents. Apart from that, Alumni of the college are also invited to attend and enjoy the fest.

GO FOR IT!!

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

Placement Experience:

After 7th semester companies started coming and there is different criteria for different companies like some company have criteria for more then 8.5 cgpa will be able to seat only in their placement conducting it is totally based on company preferences. The highest package was 9 lpa and average package was 3 lpa. Around 60 percent student get placed in my department.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of my college is very strong.From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements.There are around 50 companies visited in the college such as TCS,Intel. Microsft. Deloitte,etc.205 students are placed in TCS in year 2019. 415 students are placed in campus placement last year. Maximum CTC was 25 lacs/pa and average CTC was 5.5 lacs/pa previous year.After Jadhavpur University,the average CTC of the college is higher than IEM. Above 95% placements for IT,CSE and ECE students.There are around 55-60% placements in other department.My plans are doing some great things after getting the degree.
