Remarks

I chose this college because it's among one of the top ten college in west bengal in computer science and also in my rank, I was eligible for it and this college is not far from my home, so travelling is easy.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is under makaut university and follows the university's curriculum and the university's curriculum is pretty back dated, it doesn't include the modern Technology but the academics in our college is fine, regular classes, good faculty members with great knowledge

Placement Experience

The Placement in our college is good especially for CSE and IT, many big MNCs visit our campus and recruit students by taking a test followed by an interview, the Mass recruiter is TCS, hires around 250 studnets, other companies like Accenture, Capgemini, CGI etc also visits.

College Events

Our college has a technical fest where all sorts of technologies and projects are showcased, there are technical fests where there are a lot of events like singing and dancing competition, the fests are usually huge and anyone from or outside of college can participate by giving a small participation fee.

Our College in my views

Course Curriculum Overview:

The taxation part influenced me to join the course. It's prepare me very well for real world application or further academic pursuits. I don't think that there is any need to improve teaching methods. Teaching methods ar very good, But the syllabus of the carriculum must be reviewed. Frequency of exam is about every 6 months & question is quiet difficult.

Remarks:

Good location, A accredited, gud faculty, Gud lab facility. Has a large library with gud reading facility. Lacks gud laboratory, games facility,cateen is not well managed, Building is not well maintained. Some teachers are new inexperienced. Admission was taken on merit. It was easily completed. Choose it due to its affordability, location and overall satisfactory review.

The admission to the college was very easy. One has to full fill the basic admission criteria of the admission process. I was seeking admission for the B.A. course in the college. The whole admission process id based on the merit list. The first step was to have a study pattern of 12 years that is 10+2. The whole process is online with e-counseling sessions.

I chose AEC due to better infrastructure and the nearity of Institute from my home. I got offers from many colleges in west bengal but due to high fees and remoteness from my home i did not opt for those Institute. To be eligible you must have more than 60 percent in your secondary as well as in senior secondary examination.
