Remarks

It is the only government college in my state for the course I am pursuing.For good faculty members.The college is under a known university.The syllabus is precised yet helpful.Provide chance for pursuing integrated course for M.Sc of same stream at different universityUnder Biotechnology there are lot many different courses which are further helpful to divert course at MSc level.

Course was under CBSC so its was updated as CBSC would do. But doesn't provide internship from college or any experience at industry regarding the course. In biotechnology Dr. Shashwata Mukherjee particularly helped each and every student regarding there problems.

I didn't opt for internship yet nor does my college provide.

As such no company visits college because they don't provide internship and placement. We have to search for work at laboratory.We can personally apply for our jobs or internship or placement.

College Events

Well campus life is boring.There are as such no events even the fresher's welcome party is conducted very poorly.Extracurricular activities doesn't even include any activity regarding our course.

Fees and Financial Aid

Kanyashree provided by state government to single girl child and the amount differs for ug and Pg student.For ug student its Rs. 25000.Vivekananda scholarship.Other state government scholarships are also available.

Campus Life

Regarding infrastructure it wasn't satisfactory. The library is small and there weren't much books of interest.Sport event is always conducted by university. Wi-fi facility is not at all good. There is shortage of equipments in lab.

Hostel Facilities

There is no hostel for our college.Hostel are provided to PG students of kalyani university.College students are not provided with hostel. College students or UG students are allowed to stay at outside paying guest or mess.

Hostel Fee: INR 36000 per year

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

The package are mainly around 1.8-2.6 LPa in average. forty percent students are prepared themselves for interview and others are looking for higher education and others are prepared for other services.

Firstly, the college was near to me as compared to other colleges. The infrastructure was also good and well maintained.
