Remarks

I choose NMIMS as it is one of the most reputed institutes. The best part was ease of access any queries would be resolved in just one call. I opted for MBA as i was just a graduate and was working so Distance MBA helped me enhance my skills and get a masters degree as well

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose mba in Banking and Finance it was pretty well updated. No industrial exposure as it was a distance course. Faculties were pretty good, they didn't reach for the sake of teaching they shared their experiences and learnings over the years

College Events

Well there are events round the year. Being a distance student couldn't participate as was working at that time as well. We had a lot of inter college tournaments and competitions. We have events which are open for other students from different colleges as well. We had an edm concert. A comic show as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

Well I didn't opt for one as we had the facility to pay by credit card and so I chose an option to pay it as an emi on my card with a 13% reducing rate per annum. HDFC also provides with education loan i did enquire it was at 9.95% rate earlier but I didn't opt for it.

Campus Life

College campus is amazing. We had a cricket and a football ground. A basketball and a volleyball court as well. High-speed wifi is available. Big library. Every room is air-conditioned. The canteen has only veg food which is reasonable healthy and tasty.

YCCE College : My Experience

Placement Experience:

The placements are good in the YCCE college as compared to other colleges in Nagpur. From seventh semester the students are eligible for the campus reqruitments. The companies that offer placements in YCCE are Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, wipro, Persistent etc. The highest package is around 24 LPA and the average package is around 5 LPA. Around 70-80% students get placed every year in the college. My plans after getting the degree is to get a secure job and spent time with family.

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

An NMIMS Insider's Guide

Eligibility for the course was the person should be from healthcare background that science and if not the person should have work experience of one or two years in the healthcare sector. Review of NMIMS: MBA Pharmaceutical Management

The NMAT test can be taken up to three times each year, with the best of the three results counting. Any bachelor or above Pharma/Biotech graduate with a minimum of 50% marks can apply for the program provided they clear the cut off of the NMAT examination. On the official website of NMIMS, the application form can be found along with important dates. A certain amount of cost is required to be submitted (last year it was 2500/-). I took the NMAT test and received a score of 246, the cut-off for the 2021-23 cohort was 235. In addition, the individual cut-off was set at 76. Following the exam, the selected candidates were given a WAT test and a PI. A total of 1300 candidates were selected for the final selection, with around 600 of them enrolling in MBA programs at NMIMS in Mumbai.
