good Academics and Amazing campus life, cocurriculars and good infrastructure and great alumni. Well reputed for tech fests and arts fests and cultural fests and Students involvement in all activities.

Syllabus was updated enough for the university and The curriculum was intriguing and The Academics were good enough and faculties were good and experienced and helpful and skilled. They helped keep the students innovative.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

College Events

The campus held many a festivals including technicals fests, cultural fest and various fest from various organisations and Theyre all well rounded with huge participation from all students and faculties alike.

Campus Life

The sports facilities were good with a huge sports gallery and a hockey ground. The library was well stocked with all the books required in the curriculum and the labs and the equipments all well taken care of.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are quaint and new with four to a room basis. There are curfews and matrons. There is a prioritisation for hostel facilities which involve the distance and years. its very much cheap at all costs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Chemistry is one of the main subject in whole science and it contains practical along with theory.I preffered this subject because I don't really into bookish learning.It offers skilled learning also.Exam timing was relevant for a paper 2.30 hours and 60 marks for main subject and 80 mark for language.

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
