Remarks

Infrastructure is highly developed. Integrated class room lots of labs (CSE/ISE/MECH) also have an AI lab seprate buildings for each branch atmosphere is quite good, spacious class rooms 100percent placement records one of the top colleges in Karnataka

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus is good rather than other colleges where you have to submit lot of assignment here it's not more focus on practical knowledge that's why there are 5 different labs in 6 days talking about industrial exposure it's very good because the founder of Infosys is a allumni of our college so tours are conducted by our college 100 percent placement records faculties were very good, I came across My CS professor Mr Tojo Mathew he's good in computing science and have a vast knowledge of computer and it's different languages

Placement Experience

Placement are good almost every student got placed and but average package 8 lac and as high as 30 lac alumni are good because the founder of Infosys is our allumni and being an old college (founded in 1946) it's very reputable and lots of companies came here like Cicso, Infosys, Audi etc

As I am in 2nd sem I haven't participated in any program and I rarely being to any program so I'm not that expert but there are lots of event happen as i saw on notice board like our feast whic runs almost for a week with lots of cultural sport and tech events

Campus Life

Highly Integrated infrastructure there is a big hall (diamond jubilee hall) specially designed for games and sports a ground for volleyball, football, basketball court,full wi -fi in all building a quite big library with 2 floor and almost every book you can find there there are many labs like labs of CS/IS department AI lab mechanical labs with new and high tech support and tools

Hostel Facilities

I live in Pg because hostel are provided from second year pg cost varies from there distance from college if it's close to college they charge almost 1 lac per year with food my pg is quite spacious have two types of room double and triple i am in the triple room it cost me 90000 per year with good quality of food

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Pgdm At JAGsom - My Honest Take

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester, We have our internship as IIP. The companies coming are namely, Blackrock, Oxane, Zepto, Informatica and more. The placements are going well for Marketing and Finance. The Highest package is 50lpa and median is 10lpa. But if you stay in top 10-20% in your batch you can get, 13-14lpa. The profiles offered are of management trainee, financial analyst, data analyst, etc. Around 60-70% of the batch gets placed, but cracking interviews for placements is in student's hand.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

A good college for starting your new journey

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. Overall the college is good

I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
