Remarks

Aditi Mahavidyalaya is an institute that was specifically built in the Bawana Industrial Region to encourage and facilitate the girl child living in the rural sectors for higher studies. Keeping true to their morals and values of their foundation they have never accepted the memorandum of shifting to a more lucrative site geographically. I am a Feminist and believe in equality of all hence I chose the institution. Other factors were the very affordable financial structure, the Lab settings in the college, the NCC and NSS program that is in association with the local organisations and NGOs, the cutoff that provides and gives a chance to every student who could not give their best in their 12th class boards.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum follows the CBCS UG pattern by the University. My course curriculum was very comprehensively designed providing the knowledge for the specific subject. The pattern flows very smoothly referring to the history, perspectives, modern day changes of the subject matter. It also gives the opportunity for applied studies that gives an experience of how the course is applicable in the world. I was provided industrial exposure during the times of conduction of some practicals and researches. The faculty is very friendly, helpful and encouraging. The non teaching staff is polite. I personally liked the Faculty of Psychology, English and Economics.

Internships Opportunities

I am currently pursuing my internship as a freelance content writer with school teachers and educators. I am also engaged in philanthropic work for the Robin Hood Army. I have not interned with any company that came through my college's pool campus drive due to personal choices.

Placement Experience

3

The placement depends on the course and degree. The college is fairly visited by the placement companies but the salary package is average. The Career Placement Cell of the college attracts companies every year for job opportunities for freshers with a pay grade ranging from 10,000 to 19,000.

College Events

3.5

The college has an average campus life in terms of events and activities. some of them include- The annual Diwali Mela which includes a reputed and renowned guests, the cultural exchange program with the people of assam and is a site of attraction, the sports day events, the NCC events. The events are big but attract an average/medium sized population.

Fees and Financial Aid

As per my knowledge there are no loan facility offered by the college. however the college does provide scholarships to students who have performed exceptionally in their respective subjects. The college follows the rules and regulations provided by the university for the same. I am currently shortlisted as a subject topper for English.

Campus Life

3.5

The wi-fi facility and speed is discontinuous and slow preferably due to the geographical location. the library is medium in size, properly ventilated with desks and chairs for students. There is a functioning reading room that is a fairly new addition to the college and is very well furnished with cushioned chairs, desks and effective Air Conditioners. the cafeteria is a furnished place providing hygienic and affordable meals.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There are no hostel facilities provided by the college. The college is an all women college and provided the geographical location the college seems to have no current plans for the same. there are however some off-site private hostels / PG rooms that are near the DTU campus that many girls avail. The PG rooms near the dtu campus is an attractive and feasible option for many students in terms of location, facilities, security and is nearby to Aditi Mahavidyalaya.

I feel like the curriculum is a little out dated and boring but due to a good faculty it makes the course more worthwhile The curriculum is very text based and less practical and more emphasis on bookish knowledge persists still .

As per I've heard, placements here are decent. I can't say for sure because I'm new here. About my plans, I am doing CFA side by side because I don't believe that a bachleors degree has any valur of it's own, one needs to pair it with something else.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a person who wants to build a strong foundation in both economics and mathematics, B.A.(Hons.) Economics was my first choice. This course not only provide valuable insights into how real world economics work, but it also has great career prospects. Students studying economics major actively take consulting, research, risk management as popular career choices. Since this is a practical course with a broad focus on mathematics, the difficulty level is from moderate to high.

Placement Experience:

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.
