Remarks

St Stephen's is one of the most prestigious institutions in the country. It is known for its UG studies, especially in Economics. The profs are very learned in thwir fields and offer their time for doubts and out of the box discussions. The college is very disciplined and the student life is amazing. There are people from all across India, this adds to the diversity of our college. The placements are great with big companies coming to the college through the Placement Cell. Moreover, there would be several opportunities to prove your mettle through competitions and talks. Learned scholars and dignitaries visit the college regularly and deliver talks.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

DU usually uses books from American authors and scholars. The study material is not very often updated, ie the syllabus is not very dynamic. However, profs recognise this and hold out of the box discussions with students on current affairs, new theories that they might have read in books and novels etc. The Placement Cell keeps on coming up with new offers round the year so there is good exposure. Many students apply for internships separately and intern for around 2 months in a year.

Internships Opportunities

Worked as a Research Intern at Institute of Economic Growth. No stipendWorking as a Financial Analyst at Hedge Equities Ltd. No stipend

The college holds competitions round the year, most of which are open to all students. Many events see a footfall of 2500 students. Students from top colleges participate in the competitions. The college also hosts its annual fest called Harmony. It is allowed only to St Stephen's students though.

Campus Life

4.5

The infrastructure is beautiful with airy and big classrooms and big gardens and lawns. The wifi connectivity is moderate. Library is excellent with 95000 unique copies. Books of all ages and authors are available.

Placement Experience:

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
