Remarks

I have read many blogs and forums about this college and got a positive response from my family. My cousins and friends are all studied in this college and I think this is a better option to get enrolled in SKNCOE.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am very interested to work on computers and technology. The faculty is very much familiar with the students and support every time needed. Faculty members may have completed their Engineering some of them have done PhDs and some have done MEs.

Class Size: 77Course Fees: INR 17800 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many internships available in the college. I have applied for the internship last time and got a good experience. Internshala provides internships for the students.

Placement Experience

From 3rd year onwards students become eligible for the campus placement. No companies has visited yet. Since I am now in 3rd year I have not visited any of the companies. 70-80% students gets placement. I will try for ME.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is moderate for me as per my cast. I get scholarship from MahaDBT. I am yet studying in the college so yet no issues about job through campus.

Campus Life

Annual fest and tech fest are conducted on a very good level. Books and journals in the library are available very easily. Sports activities are conducted all over the campus. Student whatsApp group is run by the students.

Hostel Facilities

Room is very clean and tidy. Provided large and wide room. The faculty for hostel is little bit rude. Registration process for hostel admission is quite long and too much documentary.

Hostel Fee: INR 65000 per year

Interview Experience

4.5

No , there were no GD or test pattern for or interview questions. We got cap round admission through the government.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Actually I applied to various colleges but due to slightly less percentage than the cut-off Didn't get admission anywhere else for my desired branch. Choosing this college was not actually on my list but parents said it is good and well reputed too. Through my MHTCET exam i got enrolled in this college as it was the only one in my marks range regarding computer branch. I would i have got better colleges but the branch will be Electronics or mechanical or civil maybe. Our college has better campus area than other ones.The ambience is so so good. But from teaching and placement and internship perspective it is not so good than other colleges.
