Prasad Zaware's Review On Pune Institute Of Computer Technology- [PICT], Pune

I am a diploma student. So I had taken direct second year admission in this college. I scored 88.89? aggregate in my last year of diploma. And according to government cap round I got my admission here. Thus college is known for its strictness, discipline. I choose this particular college because of its placements only.

I actually don't know about the internship offered in our college. But many companies have come across in our college to offer some great jobs. And actually students don't need internship in pune university. It's only there for autonomous colleges in pune which hav the last semester as internship.

This college has very good placement records. Students of TE also got placed this year. Around 130 students only from E&TC got placed this year. 2 student have received a package of 10 lakhs for a company named Ideasas and even those students are from E&TC.

There are many technical events held in PICT. And each and every event is very big. Many students from other colleges come to participate in these events. I don't exactly remember the names of the event but till now there were only technical event. Recently our college also won the purshotum .

The fee of this college is around Rs 1,08,000 for 1st year and after that it will be around 85,000 to 90,000. All the fees such as exam fees, etc are included in it .Only we have to pay more 300 rs for that stationary such as files, write ups etc.

The government of India provides various scholarship but only those who are in category and also to EBCs .Otherwise there are no scholarship to people according to my information.

The campus crusade s very good but small. And there is no discriminations or difference in this campus. There are not much sports activities as the ground is very small, actually it only has a basketball ground nothing else. So for the people who like sports pls don't even think of taking admission to this college.

Every week alumni students are called to have an interaction with them. They just give us an idea about the current market trends , what should we do after our graduation etc.

Exams are not hectic but in Pune if u are in an autonomous colleges then its very good. I personally didn't like the working of Pune University. A friend of mine was marked absent for 3 papers even if he was present still and due to which he had to give those papers again in the next semester.
