Remarks

Competitiveness, good environment, good relation between teachers and student, proper infrastructure, reasonable fees and near ness to hometown. Good library. Productive clubs like NCC, NSS, SacMUN, Anthonian Youth Club, cyber club, chess, soccer, basketball, volleyball and other clubs.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus covered the core topics. Faculties are well qualified and understanding, always eager to help students in need, educatively, mentally, even financially. The guidance, apart from the bookish knowledge is really helpful. Career counselling is applaudable.

Many firms come every year to give placements to the students.Entrepreneurship programmes and firms, subject based companies and many other comes to the college every year. Many students gets placements too.

College Events

A friendly environment. Clean surrounding. The college focuses not only on bookish knowledge but also focuses on all round development. Various events like sports meet, college week, anthonian day etc are celebrated throughout the session so as to keep the students enthusiastic and fresh. The college also celebrates the national and international events like world environment day, aids prevention, cleanliness drive, etc.

Campus Life

Sufficient library with the required books. WiFi free campus. Sports were also given importance. College teams usually participates in tournaments of chess, volley, soccer and basketball. Laboratories are well equipped.

campus placements are okay, it is improving over time... averagely people get placed at 7-8 lpa and some people get placed at 12lpa. Many students go for off campus placements and there they perform very well. students have secured 22- 28lpa off campus.

Placement Experience:

Yes placement's are there because it's a NIT From 3rd semester you are eligibile to apply for internship and from 7 sem you are also eligible for campus placements Many companies visit our campus for the placements some famous names of coma pansies are adobe amazon flipkart Mahindra infosys tata black rock etc and the no of offers made differ each year but the average of offers remains 150plus Highest package of our college is 51 LPA Which is bagged by a cs girl this year from Amazon and the average package also differ by the branches but for mechanics and cs branch a the average package is as good as 10LPA Percentage of students greeting placed is very good for the mechanical and cs branch like 95% placements are there and for others branches also 70% placements is there So placements is not a big issue in this college ???? My plans are simple Mai have to maintains a good ointer to be eligible for campus placements and get a good job and settle in life

My life in NEIGRIHMS till now

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took admission in MBBS in NEIGRIHMS in 2021. Through my journey of three years and more I found that the faculties in NEIGRIHMS here are veruyhumble and kind. All the professor are very supportive and Good to everyone. NEIGRIHMS is not like others colleges . I personally feels lucky very to study in these college. Teachers here are very humble and they teaches very good . The way of teaching is excellent. They also interact with us . They always help very students in their academics. NEIGRIHMS being a central college the professor here is also very professional and prove in very steps that they are so qualified that they teaches us very well. I am very proud to be here and feels very lucky. NEIGRIHMS is also very beautiful place and campus here is looks amazing. There is greehy everywhere and flowers are blooming everywhere. They really care about environment and plant many trees every time. The campus view is very amazing. Students should really come here and enjoy the beauty here.

ST ANTHONY’s COLLEGE SHILLONG

I chose this college as its just 100 KM but the other one was too far. Plus was expensive too as I come from a middle class family. And the course in the other college had a rule that you can't just pursue music and you have to take 3 degrees all together. So if you take BA. MUSIC you have to take BA. PSYCHOLOGY and BA. I originally wanted to go to Delhi university I even got the seat but because of the delay of the Cuet result I had to keep my option open. I applied to maybe 4 college one is from my local place, the other one is b.booruah,st Anthony's and DU. But since my Cuet results were delayed I ended up in stb.Anthonys I got accepted in the other two college which I applied for but since st.Anthony's was my second option I came here. In st. Anthony's due to some network issue my acceptance mail was stuck so I had to come here in the college and talked with the principal after finally talking with the principal I received my email and my admission was done.
