Its a very good college for anyone who is interested in the course

Course Curriculum Overview

Its a 5 and half year course with 1 year compulsory internship included in the course. Its divided into a 4 year course plan and with exams conducted at the end of each year. For the 1st and 4th year there is no carryover means you have to clear it otherwise you dnt promoted to the next year

All events are celebrated including technical cultural and festivals. All Indian festivals were celebrated with diverse cultures and maximum participation of the whole college. All such festivals organised gave maximum participation to the students and college

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was feasible there was a yearly tuition fees so its ws paid after we complete each year. Hostel fees and mess fees were not included in the fees. The mess and hostel fess were also paid on a yearly basis. Other than there were exams fees at the time of form fill up before exams

No I have not taken any scholarship or education loan my parents were both working so they paid for my fees

Campus Life

Everything is good, there were good accommodation facilities for different kinds of people from different geographical areas. There were all facilities available for diverse cultural activities functions and different exchange programs. Everyone are provided equal opportunities and are treated equally

Alumni/Alumna

Well organised and helpful. They alumni has always been supportive and always reach out to any issues and supports.

Admission

Got admission through Comedk. Have to secure 50% in the entrance test after that I had to attend conselling. Based on the marks I will get different choices. Those on the higher rank will get better colleges and since everyone prefer colleges inside the city it will get filled 1st

Faculty

The faculties were very good and helpful, interactive and always reachable. There were enough lectures and about 25 in nos. With middle aged and well experienced faculties and were all highly educated. The students were given ultra Clarity in every subjects they undertake and provide to the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate 3/5 because we want more systems to do our work as well as labs too,the main thing is we dont have that faculty compare to other department their are only 4 faculty,so they can't even able to take extra class for us ,so this is the main problem in our deparment

My Experience: The good and the Bad

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

Placement Experience:

The students from the last year that is seventh semester are allowed to attend the placement given on campus. There are not so many campus placement available. Many companies such as tcs, wipro and other companies basically giving less salary compared to other colleges. There are many few students who got placed in the companies through campus placement hence it cannot be trusted completely. My plans after getting a degree is to get a job or even higher studies of possible. The average students getting placed are very low.

My college

I chose this college over others as the place where it is location is devoid of noise pollution or the city huzzel. As the college comes on the highway there is no honking or constant traffic like in the cities. But this is also a disadvantage as we students have to travel quite far for a day outing or for a movie theatre. Chat shops, photocopy stores are inside our campus itself. Admission process was all through KEA. After we write NEET exam based on our marks are eligibility criteria, preferance order and availability of seats colleges are awarded. For a gov and private seats students submitted the original documents to KEA office, where we receieved a letter which we submitted to the college for further admission processes...Read More

For my rank and marks in neet ug this was the college i got my rank was 1,37000 i got private seat in deemed college , i would have got sidhartha medical college in tumkur or sdm college in dharward for my marks and rank.
