Remarks

DU gives a lot of exposure. Its courses are so inclusive of real life problems and if course DU is special in itself. Its popularity alongwith fests and extra curriculars drove me to this university. I had to face some real life things in a new world which is just about exposure and it is the best place no doubt.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus gets updated every year.there is no industrial exposure but we have attended seminars who are really working wiyhib the fields.faculty is helpful and inspiring.MRs. Divisha Goyal is a really good teacher there and my personally favourite.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement cell is kind of very new here.from last 2 3 years it has come into working.many companies have visited but i cannot recall the name as i never opted for the placement but its working and will be progressive by next 4 5 years.

College Events

Extracurriculars are not that good. Culturals are managed by societies only and other festivals are not good.very low participation can be seen.

Campus Life

Sports facility is normal.we have playgrounds but not too much area is assigned for sports.wi-fi is there but very weak,library is good enough and recently got updated with new books.equipment in labs are not updated.

Talking about the placements it has society that is placement cell you have to join it for updates and also you will register on your college portal also. According to previous data it has a highest placement of 6.5 lakh per annum and the companies which visits here are google, tcs, infosys, etc And in every year you are eligible but you have experience in fields a good resume My plan was to prepare for ssc after getting the degree

The course curriculum is something that can have improvements. For example I am studying C++ in my computer minor class which is becoming less and less relavent as compared to a lamguage like python. Alot of job prospects require students to know a language like R so I feel things like that should be taught so that the course cam make a student more real world ready.

Life at Deshbandhu

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is amazing, bringing many internship and pre-placement offer opportunities to the students. The average package being between 5-7 LPA, and the highest package grossing over 20 LPA. Around 60-80% of the students get placements. If i don't get a placement, I'd presue higher studies.

It's good compare to other colleges also name of the companies that visited in our college are DE SHAW &CO, EY, AMAZON and many more. Highest package offered last year was 23 LPA and average package is 7 LPA . 45% of students get placements from campus my plans after getting my degree is to give MBA exam

I applied to almost all colleges offering the course that i have chosen, i got confirmed admissions in majority of them, however I chose this college because of it's location, unique exposure and the faculty. However, some of the colleges I applied to rejected me too, as this course is highly competitive and very few colleges offer this course, I acknowledge that I am not the best and hence I lost my spot in those colleges. The admission process : - Sit for the cuet exam - Portal opens for admission to all du colleges after one or two months, register there. - Admission happens in three phases through the portal ? registration, making and submission of the preference list (course wise and college wise) and lastly the allotment. Interest in Business and Economics and getting a DU Degree is the only reason to go here in 2025.

There are only 10 colleges offering BBE in Delhi University. So, therefore, the course is high in demand. It is a professional course so the college is still in the process of adapting to a professional setting. I applied for all other colleges offering BBE in DU, and got admitted here via the Common University Entrance Exam (CUET). My preference was to go to Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce to pursue this same course, but the cutoff for the same is very high.
