Remarks

Good infrastructures and facilities and good academic records. It have dist sponsared lab and have good badminton court. Proffesors are mostly from top institutions like Indian institute of technology

Course Curriculum Overview

Very good syllabus it have a good board of committee to framework the syllabus. It have autonomous curriculum and they make changes in the syllabus and make it industrial revelvant and job oriented. Academicians are well versed

Class Size: 43Course Fees: INR 2000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement facilities are poor. Only few companies visit the campus and it was the draw back of the college

College Events

College conducts various fest like science fest, drama fest, film fest, sports fest and it was conducted by various departments in my college it have huge participation and all students compulsarly participate in it

Fees and Financial Aid

I opted post matric scholarship it gives 4000 rupees per year and it is sufficient to pay fee and various scholarships are available for needy students

Campus Life

Sports facilities are very good, library have more than 2000 books and all labs have good facilities. It provides more opportunities for the students many of my seniors participated in national sports events and this makes our college unique

Lateral Entry life in Polytechnic

Course Curriculum Overview:

I just choosed electronics because it was a good course comparing to others I'm just aiming for lateral entry exam to btech this course I'm learning is just a step for that door. For real world applications idk how much they are preparing us because I think most of these preparations are for exam and only exam oriented those who likes the course may get the real world experience others only pass the exam. Teacher should be more focused on exam oriented teaching and should include technology like projecting images, showing videos as ai had this growth it's easy for them to teach something to us easily they should implement it. Frequency and timing is not bad because there is one month gap between each exam.

Placement oppertunities are often given during 4th year of our course. Average package is around 3Lakhs per year. Students getting placements are often high but most of the reject the offer for higher studies inorder to get a higher package.

After 8th semester the students are eligible for campus placement. Companies like Allen Solly, Kitex , Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger . Not high percentage of students are placed but some are. After getting the degree get a experienced and work as personal designer. Or fashion merchandising

I chose BCom because I was interested in the commercial sector but I wish I had chosen a college that provided better placement services. Most of the faculty members strictly read off the textbook and lack experience. Exams were conducted regularly.

deep dive into sb college

so i applay for a few collage which around five km radious from my home and st berchmans collage and nss hindhu collage are at the top i got selected on both collage after interview but sb is more convinent for me and its a dream for me to do a ug course at sb so after getting addmisiom on sb i dont attented other interviews there is no eligability exams for a ug course for mba there is cat,cmat,kmat, is there for ug just have 50% in 12th is enough...Read More

My average college life

I the main reason i choose my college is to stay close to home my parents was going through hardtimes i wanted to be near them and help them. I didn't try for otger colleges because i was sure i would get it here . Admission process was simple mainly beacuse i had my brother help me out he was a student there we had to fillout a form submit it along with copies of adhaar, 12th and 10th certificate,and they asked me too submitt my original 12 th certficate later for verification we had to oay an 11000 rupees fee at the beginning.
