Entrance Preview

I gave cochin university of science and technology common admission test and i got a rank of 3396. I chose information technology branch because i always wanted to be a software engineer and also the placement history of this college is wonderful.

Internships Opportunities

Plenty of start up companies keep on visiting our college every year to hire students for internship and also they provide attaractive salary. Start up companies like open softwares pvt ltd. ,sulfur soft, ventura,etc. I had my internship with sulfur soft it was an amazing learning experience i was given a stipend of 5k per month.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities here are really amazing. There is a huge list of companies visiting here companies like tcs,vipro,amadeus,aricent,etc. They recruit students in mass and provide an average salary of around 3.5 lakhs per annum to 6 lakhs ver annum. All the students who pass in the university exams are placed. Big companies like snapdeal,flipkart also visit here but they dont recruit people in mass and they provide around 10-12 lakhs per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible we have to pay a semester fee of 35,400 that includes the examination fee also. The overall hostel charge per month is 3500 fooding and lodging combined.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans can be availed by any of the nationalised bank. Also our university award the semester toppers with rs 10,000. This prize money is given to topper of every branch. Also some sort of scholarship is provided to the sc and st students.

Exam Structure

In a semester there are two internals and one external exam.yes the examination schedule is very much hectic we have to give two exams in a day. We also have two lab examinations in every semester. The university exam is of 100 marks and the internal is of 50 marks out of the total 150 marks one has to get 75 to pass.

An honest college review

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for placements. The top recruiters in it sectors are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Tata Elxsi, Accenture, Oracle, Amazon, Wipro, UST GLOBAL, IBM. The top recruiters in other sectors are Mu Sigma, Ernst and young,, federal Bank, h and r block. Most of the placement are in it and related sectors. The average package is 4 to 6 lpa.The highest package is 34 lpa in Amazon. In 2024, 35 percent of students got placed. I will look to get campus placement in a reasonable package or I will try to get jobs by other means.

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.
